Quality — From Theory to Reality
In organizations seeking to develop a privileged position at the local and global levels, the processes involved in controlling and assuring the quality of a product have become matters of critical importance to business survival. This is the impetus behind the increasing demand for, and interest in the most effecive methods for achieving, Total Quality Management (TQM). This chapter^s focus is on quality management systems in construction projects, and the the responsibilities of various parties for their share in ensuring achievement and maintenance of project-wide TQM.
